It becomes very alarming for us to hear that the only help on offer for overseas investors are the selling agent who sold them the property or the lawyer that was recommended by them. In many cases the lawyer representing the clients has been recommended by the developer which causes a conflict of interest and helps nobody other than the developer.

There has been many action groups put together throughout developments by clients that are suffering but with no real knowledge of the laws within the country and no structure to their plight they have done very little if nothing to reclaim their deposits or found a way in which to complete on the property they planned on investing in.

As there are many forums and property blogs around the world with many people stating their frustrations, we believe it is not for the want of trying or the dedication and hard work that is put in by the prospective owners it is simply a case of being able to make structured decisions that are right both for the individual and the group.
